This is my third (or fourth) time using them. They do a fantastic job of restoring those big, heavy wooden front doors. In my case, it gets beaten down with the sun year after year, so it needs new stain and urethane every few years. Glen does a terrific job, taking his time to properly sand and repair. I have friends who now use them on my recommendation as well. You won't be disappointed.
I was very happy with the service that was provided - all of the guys who came in were polite and on time. They were efficient and finished the job earlier than they thought with no compromise to quality. The finished product has made my new condo look as though it's never been lived in. Look no further, you have found your guys! I used them to hang my wallpaper which I was very nervous about because the paper was very expensive and I wanted it hung in some very tricky spots and they absolutely nailed it! They were fast and efficient, very reasonably priced, paid much attention to detail, helped me navigate some issues that arose, made suggestions that I didn't even think of, and were lovely to work with and have in my home. The end result is stunning and I am very happy with them. My only regret is that I used someone else for my painting (only because I hadn't found them yet) Do yourself a favour and hire these guys!
Finer Edge came recommended by our interior designer for a main floor and staircase makeover. From bland to bold with lots of trim, french doors and a circular staircase - the space is new and beautiful!! The team was thorough, professional, on time and had the job done in 2 days! So good, we added a bedroom to the job plus our dated china cabinet for a fresh new painted look! Couldn't be happier and are already planning to have Finer Edge back to install a mural wrap to our front foyer because they do master wall paper work too!
I would highly recommend Finer Edge, who I selected based on previous reviews, their size and length of time in business. The walls on the room to be painted were in pretty bad shape and required some skill in plastering to smooth them out, as well as scraping off years of old paint. Everything went very smoothly and professionally, from my first call with Bonnie, Bill’s visit to our home to provide a quote, Luigi’s coordinating and setting up his team for a very prompt start time and Robert and Doug’s great work and skill on plastering and smoothing some very uneven walls. Robert finished up on his own with a beautiful paint job. The walls look amazing, they look almost like new drywall. I also thank Robert and Doug for their neatness, they cleaned up each day, so you would hardly know they had been there. They were very easy going and pleasant to work with. I am very pleased with Finer Edge, and I see why many people are repeat customers, and we will certainly be in touch for some future painting projects as well. Kudos to Finer Edge for a great job painting the exterior of my home and also a smaller interior repair and paint job. Great customer service by Scott both when he came to quote on the job and also when he returned on Day One to make sure the crew was fully understanding the details of the work. The crew: Soufi, Mo, Tran and Amir were on time, efficient, friendly and took pride in their work. Soufi oversaw the work like it was his own home, pointing out any touch ups, debris to be picked up, etc. Two minor hiccups along the way but Scott was quick to make everything right. Thanks to all and looking forward to the next paint project that Finer Edge will be doing at my place!
I work for a real estate brokerage and we often have Finer Edge come in and quote on our clients homes. These days difficult to find ANY company good or bad to do anything in the area of renos or improvements on you living quarters, like painting. And when you find one not too sure what you get. Well Finer Edge was referred to me by my neighbour and from that point on I just sat back and watched. Luigi came and did a quote and since i was not in a hurry he said he would get back to me and give me three days notice. True to his word it was back to me within 10 days 3 days notice. A crew of three came, moved my furniture, covered it and of they went. They had a game plane and followed it exactly. Two or three coats on everything, arrived on time for the two days they were here, in fact arrived early and started right in. Did not spend the time talking or on the phone, or long breaks, they worked. They had said three days or less - they were finished in two. All were perfectionists and took pride in what they did. They cleaned up everything, washed the floors, put the rugs back, the furniture in its place, and headed off well ahead of schedule. Polite, on time, great workers, great product delivered -their skills. They new how to paint. The crew boss had been doing it for 10 yrs. If you are looking for good price, delivery on promises, meeting estimated time frame, perfectionists, professional and nice people phone them now. Don't go any further in your search.
